Our mission statement explains only a part of this extraordinarily special place called Senior Marketing Specialists, where we genuinely care about our employees, customers, and our community. Our 12 Months of Giving program is a cornerstone of our SMS “People First” culture, encompassing numerous charitable and volunteer opportunities each month. SMS employees always come through with generous donations of time, talent, and monetary funds for charity walks, raffles to clothing drives, silent auctions, and preparing or donating food. Everyone has the opportunity to step in and contribute in their own way to an organization they feel passionate about.
One of the many outstanding things about SMS is that our employees share a strong moral compass and passion for giving back to our community.
Together we volunteer at the Food Bank, prepare dinners at the Ronald McDonald House, sponsor Honor Flights for our Veterans, and have even helped build homes with Habitat for Humanity – all supported by the company. We adopt families during the holidays, help animal shelters in need, and host blood drives for the Red Cross.
In addition, SMS provides opportunities to go above and beyond by allowing employees to volunteer during work hours—enabling the company to exceed hundreds of hours each year working with the Food Bank, Adopt-a-Spot, the Senior Center, and other community organizations that need help.
By matching employee-raised funds for various organizations such as the American Red Cross, Alzheimer’s Association, and the Foundation for Sarcoidosis Research, we have raised over $25,000 in 2021 and helped enrich countless lives.
Service to the community has always been a core value for Senior Marketing Specialists. We take immense pride in our employee’s devotion to philanthropy, volunteerism, and giving back to their community.
We believe supporting the community and non-profit organizations in our area is crucial to being a business worth doing business with.
