Carrier & Industry Updates
- Part B Immediate Enrollment in 2023
- General Enrollment Period: January 1st – March 31st
- Part B will start the first of the following month
- OEP Quick Reference Guide
- Reminder: you cannot advertise the OEP election
- Service Area Reduction SEP
- December 8th – February 28th
- Don’t forget about the 5 Star Plan Special Enrollment Period!
- Client can use this SEP one time to move to a 5 star-rated plan.
- As a part of the Inflation Reduction Act, Medicare Part D enrollees will become eligible for $35 insulin and free vaccines starting January 2023.
- Shingles, COVID, and Flu vaccines all included
- Part B covered insulin (pump) won’t be covered at $35 until July 2023.
- Based on the HPMS memo, MA and PDP enrollments will now be required to ask for Race/Ethnicity upon enrollment
- This will be optional for the client to answer
