Since 2009, the Cattle Baron’s Ball of Southwest Missouri has raised over $5.7 million for the fight against cancer. The event’s program will honor those who have endured the cancer journey through the Stars of Hope luminary service.

Audrain County Relay for Life – Mexico, MO

The Relay For Life movement is dedicated to helping communities attack cancer. Through funds donated, time given, or awareness raised, our communities are teaming up – virtually or in person – to make a difference. When we rally together in the fight against cancer, we can accomplish anything.

 

Lizzy’s Walk of Faith – Columbia, MO

Every September, in honor of Pediatric Awareness Month, the Foundation organizes a 5K walk/run. Hundreds of people from all over the United States gather to support children fighting a battle with cancer & remember those who have passed away from this horrible disease. All proceeds raised from the event benefit St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and Lizzy’s Walk of Faith Foundation.

Making Strides has always been more than just a walk, it’s a movement. We are making it easier for anyone, anywhere to make an impact. We know the future can be free from breast cancer. We’re asking you to join the movement and sign up to save lives.

The Relay For Life movement is dedicated to helping communities attack cancer. Through funds donated, time given, or awareness raised, our communities are teaming up – virtually or in person – to make a difference. When we rally together in the fight against cancer, we can accomplish anything.

Includes skin care and cosmetic application and alternatives for managing hair loss, including the use of wigs, hats and instruction in scarf tying.

The American Cancer Society provides a variety of services and resources to cancer patients and their families, including financial assistance for transportation, lodging, and other expenses related to cancer treatment.

The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society provides financial assistance to eligible patients for treatment-related expenses, including transportation, medication, and insurance co-payments.

The Patient Advocate Foundation provides financial assistance and advocacy for patients with chronic, life-threatening, or debilitating illnesses, including cancer.
