Medico Corp Life – Discontinuance of Sales – Updated December 21, 2020
Medico Corp Life Insurance Company’s will discontinue the offering and sale of its individual Medicare Supplement policies in Colorado effective December 31, 2020. Medico Corp Life will continue to administer existing in-force Colorado policyholders as they will maintain their guaranteed renewable coverage without a change in benefits as long as premiums are paid when due.
Western United Life – Discontinuance of New Sales – Updated December 14, 2020
Western United Life will discontinue new sales in Utah, Pennsylvania, and New Jersey. Their sister company, ManhattanLife Assurance Company of America, will continue to sell in those states–taking over Western United Life agent contracts. There will be an automated porting process so no new contract is needed if you are current with Manhattan Life or Western United.
