12 Months of Giving 2023 Impact Report
At Senior Marketing Specialists (SMS), and as a part of McNerney Management Group (MMG), we have a passion for serving. That passion not only exists within the industry, but also within the great community that surrounds us. Which is why we created the 12 Months of Giving program; to better support our staff in giving back and getting involved in our community. Below you can see just how much we were able to make a difference in 2023!

SMS completed 56 total hours of volunteering between our Adopt-A-Spot, Central & Northeast MO Food Bank, Central MO Humane Society, and Senior Center Garage Sale Set-Ups!
ROOM AT THE INN DONATION DRIVE (MMG) — $570 raised with additional physical donations.
MMG BLOOD DRIVE — 15 units of blood donated.
HEAD FOR THE CURE FUNDRAISER (MMG) — $4,807 and had 8 participants in the Mid-Missouri Head for the Cure 5K for Team MMG. We were the top fundraising team, and our very own Riannon Zellmer was the top fundraising individual.
MEALS ON WHEELS – Big Wheels Fundraiser (MMG) — $299 raised.
COMO MEMORIAL STAIR CLIMB (MMG) — $1,102 raised.
MEALS ON WHEELS – Big Wheels Fundraiser (MMG) — $299 raised.
CROHN’S AND COLITIS FOUNDATION FUNDRAISER (MMG) — $3,076 raised, and 7 participants in the Take Steps St. Louis 5K for Team MMG.
CHILDREN’S MIRACLE FUNDRAISER (MMG) — $4,175 raised.
HUMANE SOCIETY DONATIONS DRIVE (MMG) — $368 raised, and additional physical donations.
SUPER SAM FOUNDATION DONATION DRIVE (SMS) — $225 raised, and additional physical donations made for Buddy Packs.
FOOD BANK DONATION DRIVES (MMG) — 42 pounds of food donated in total, accumulated from 3 separate drives in 2023.
MOVEMBER FUNDRAISER FOR CANCER CARE (MMG) — $2,551 raised.
SALVATION ARMY ANGEL TREE (MMG) — Presents purchased for 30 angels.
SILENT AUCTION FOR THE RED CROSS (MMG) — $7,029 raised, with 191 items donated.
AMERICAN RED CROSS (MMG) — Heart-Grams, March Madness 50/50 Raffle, Silent Auction, Candy-Cane Grams, and Jeans Fundraiser — $10,650 raised, which will be matched by MMG.
SMS showed support and brought awareness 10 times this year for the following:
